Heavyweight wool French military trousers, circa WWII era 1940s vintage. Tagged size 46 (European), these measure to a 37.5' - 38' waist.

Classic Olive Drab color range (greenish brown diagonal wool weave), high waisted with covered button fly. Subtle front pleating. On seam front slash pockets, back slash pockets with hidden button flap closures. Leg openings are on the wider side, and slightly tapered to the hems.

Condition is very good- there are a couple of very faint marks that do not detract. These are labelled as 'antimite', though there are a couple of small spots of slight thinness. No holes- simply worth noting. Waistline is fully lined in woven olive cotton fabric. Pockets, fly, and crotch area are a study cotton weave. Very solidly made- these have a lifetime a wear ahead!
